Released 2010 **NEEDS REPAIR - SEE BELOW**
I live in the world of vintage analog test gear but I don't ignore more contemporary test equipment.
Personally I don't like using these modern scopes but I would have to be "blind freddy" not to see the advantages.
Very light weight
Portable
Compact
Far more facilities than analog gear such e.g wideband analysis and FFT functions.

Top carry handle but this can also easily be carried like a ladies clutch purse! It's so light compared to my Le Croy!
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Like new, no marks on the plastic casing or front panel
LCD screen has no defects
ONE ISSUE - small but I did notice one of the little plastic feet has gone missing. The unit is still physically stable without it anyway.
TESTING:
With these you need to sit down for a while and figure out how to drive it but once mastered, it's a breeze.
All controls functioned properly SOMETIMES!!
When working correctly....
Signal to both channels, no problems
Basic inputs to both channels - all functioning fine
All other functions, menu selections etc all working correctly
Did some automatic maths functions - a breeze
I like the on-screen HELP files.
The scope STAYS WORKING unless powered off and then it is likely the problems become apparent if immediately powered back up again.
Symptoms of the issue...
Boot up screen is stable and clear - green power led
Once the software is loaded, characters/waveforms are clear but a big jumbled mess! Green led changes to Red, Start/Stop flashes. No response to any key press then at other times, there is a horizontal flickering going on, no sensible display data, similar to the loss of vertical sync from analog days in CRT monitors.
VGA output also is non-functioning
No heat generated, no smells out of the ordinary
Leave the unit for at least an hour or so, hey presto - it works fine again.
ALWAYS, the boot up screen is clear and stable - it is once the software has loaded that the system falls in a heap.
Looking around online, Owon has had issues with their SMPS modules - this could be the issue.
When working, a very impressive piece of gear for it's size.
I don't like the high impact plastic much but it beats the hell out of lugging around a 15+Kg monster.
