Ex business associate small business office telephone system
My background is in telecommunications but from a LONG time ago (remember "eyeball" line indicators! that is a long time ago) but my associate has asked me to see if someone else can make use of this system.
The SV8100 is a COMPLETE WORKING SYSTEM (just removed from service due to an upgrade) but in the interests of flexibility, I have decided to "break up" the system and offer as separate components.
This advertisement is for the NON NEC equipment, the Music On Hold 'box' ONLY
NEC SV8100 Handsets are HERE
NEC SV8100 Digital Phone (WITHOUT handset) are HERE
NEC InMail Card is HERE
NEC SV8100 Main System unit is HERE
MUSIC ON HOLD Module ONLY
This module was being used with the complete SV8100 system that I am "parting out" for no reason other than to offer the most flexible options for those interested
However this music-on-hold module is not specific to NEC or any other telephone system manufacturer, it just produces music or spoken word that the incoming callers hear when they are placed on hold
There is no control by the system unit, the module (once turned on) continously provides "on hold" audio to the users telephone system via the output lead
Music is recorded onto the USB stick (included)
Side control for volume leaving the module and also there is another level control built into the side of the small isolation unit provided with this MOH
Powered from a plug pack, which is also supplied
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Clean and undamaged physically
TESTING:
The previous telephone system "Music On Hold" along with various "thank you for waiting ..." messages are STILL on the USB stick. Obviously the new owner will need to erase these messages and record their own.
Turn on the unit, Green LED flashed and the Red LED stays on constantly as it reads the files from the USB drive.
If you have not inserted the USB drive, the Green LED comes on constantly and there is no Red LED indicating that the unit is not reading anything!
I believe these units can accept up to a 32Gb USB stick but this 4Gb stick has plenty of space for most people. I did remove the Transcend 4Gb USB stick and had a look "inside" ... only one file in MP3 format and just 2Mb in size! The stick is basically empty.
There is a button on the rear panel and when pushed in, you can hear the audio from a loudspeaker inside the box - no need to listen on a handset!
Two 3.5mm jack sockets at the rear, one is 8 Ohm (external loudspeaker) and the other is 600 Ohm, normal signal to your telephone system.
After my tests, I have now packed the complete module into a sealed plastic bag.
