Ex business associate small business office telephone system
My background is in telecommunications but from a LONG time ago (remember "eyeball" line indicators! that is a long time ago) but my associate has asked me to see if someone else can make use of this system.
The SV8100 is a COMPLETE WORKING SYSTEM (just removed from service due to an upgrade) but in the interests of flexibility, I have decided to "break up" the system and offer as separate components.
This advertisement is for the main system unit ONLY

NEC SV8100 - Main System Unit ONLY
Purchased around 2009 ~ 2010
Rack ears already fitted (removeable if desired)
MODULES FITTED:
CD-CP00 (UNIVERGE SV8100)
CD-PRTA
CD-8DLCA
CD-8DLCA
CD-4LCA
CD-4COTC
I am including the IEC power lead and the in-line isolation unit with this main system unit
Auxilliary equipment such as handsets, Voicemail card, Music On Hold are available as separately listed items
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Clean and undamaged physically
Barely any scratch marks or discolouration, which is it should be as this has been sitting in the rack unit for a number of years prior to upgrading.
All front ports look to be reasonably clean.
Rear panel fan cover has some dirt/dust "marks" but nothing more
TESTING:
While I say it is working, it is always a good idea to undertake some basic testing to ensure that everything is ok
NOTE: I did NOT instal this system originally and I am unaware of the system password for system programming! I am sure that (like most IT equipment) there is a "backdoor" or "master password" - those familiar with this equipment will know all about this.
This means I am testing the system (very basic testing) exactly as it was removed from the premises, all previous programming has been retained (e.g station user names still come up on the handset screens)
Power is supplied via a standard IEC lead using a normal domestic GPO (240V 3 pin wall socket)
Powered on, Blue LED near the switch indicates
Rear fan operates and is not noisy.
System undertakes "self testing" and eventually settles down with each module having a slowly flashing Green LED
I then plugged in a couple of handsets to the digital ports.
These "initialised" and then indicate the date/time etc (see the screen shot of this)
I then connected a number of the handsets in a "test office" setup and called each extension and checked some of the functions e.g loudspeaker, directories etc
I did not connect the system to the "outside world" but I have no reason to doubt that this works fine too based on my previous knowledge of this system.
Keep in mind my shipping policy, as this item exceeds A$76 the shipping costs around Australia are FREE - no shipping cost at all.
