This is ONLY the microphone "horn" section of the telephone operator's headset (#1 or #2) I know from experience that often you may come across one of these old headsets but the horn has been removed (they just "push fit" onto the headset and are easily removed and lost)
This type of headset was in common use by telephone operator's back in the 1970's, I used one in an area of telecommunications called the Test Desk (later changed to the Fault Control Centre) - a lightweight headset with an earpiece on either just one side or both sides of the head.
I have enclosed a photograph of the complete headset and highlighted the section I am offering.
