Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Ex workshop spare parts BUT these are the "lost souls" those valves who are either in the wrong boxes, no boxes and ALL are UNTESTED.

This will complete my advertisements for valves, ALL of the other valves I have listed (mainly for audio use) are advertised already and are known to be BRAND NEW but these valves are of unknown quality - some wouldn't usually be used in audio equipment and I have no idea why the techs kept these.

I HAD a nice AVO Valve Tester but sold that some time ago (a bit silly looking back in hindsight) so I am completely unable to test these tubes

THESE VALVES ARE ALL OFFERED AS ONE LOT AND ALL UNTESTED

DESCRIPTION:

The valves in the picture are as follows:

(Going from left to right in the photograph)

NATIONAL BOX: Top of box has printed 6AU6. Inside the box is indeed a NATIONAL (MATSUSHITA) 6AU6. Very slight bend to a couple of pins, I believe this has been "pulled" from a socket.

WHITE BOX: Marked as a 6AK5 and the style of box looks like it is WWII vintage (I still have VERY old valves, search on VALVES to find them) Still has the plastic pin socket fitted to the base, glass marked as CY4010/5654/6AK5W and this tube appears to be "NEW" very old stock.

NATIONAL BOX: (Orientated upside down): Marked on one end as USED, the other end 6DJ8. Inside the box is indeed a NATIONAL (MATSUSHITA) 6DJ8 and it does look UNUSED, no bending of the pins!

AEV BOX: Marked on one end as 6DJ8/6922. Inside is a very new "looking" tube marked only as 6H23R - perhaps a Rusky valve?

PHILIPS BOX: Marked on one end as an ORP50. Inside is indeed a PHILIPS ORP50 with flying wire leads (not pins) - actually this is a special photoconductive cell  tube

PHILIPS BOX: Same as above, contains what appears to be a NEW PHILIPS ORP50

NATIONAL BOX (RED): Marked on one end as 6RA2. Inside is a tall 9 pin valve and the type number has rubbed off the glass envelope BUT I can still read the letter A2! The tube appears to be NEC, I can also make that out. The pins are straight and look to be unused, although old (dullness to the metal) - I suspect this is an OLD rectifier

NATIONAL BOX (RED): Marked on one end as 6AR3. I can see what appears to be part of the word TOSHIBA and CLEARLY marked as 6RA3 towards the top of the glass envelope. Tall valve, looks like another rectifier but different element layout inside compared to the other tube.

UNBOXED (2): Above the NATIONAL BOXES: These are both the same type, glass envelope shows them as 6CL6 but the manufacturer has rubbed off. These have very slight bends to the pins so I would think they were "pulls" from valve sockets

UNBOXED (2): The remaining unboxed valves look to be the same construction inside. One has had the centrally located type number partially rubbed off, I can read what is left of NEC and 6R (space) A3. The other has no manufacturers name and the type number is clearly visible towards the top of the tube, 6RA3 - Again these look to be strange little rectifiers! Actually I see online this series are Regulator tubes.

MULLARD BOX: Marked on one end as 6AK5. Inside is a 7 pin EF95, clearly marked as MULLARD and Made in Gt. Britain - this is definitely an OLD one!

Thats it folks!

No more ... perhaps for a "museum collection" or those 6DJ8's look interesting, even the ORP50 might be nice to have as an antiquity! My aim here is to save these from joining landfill and my asking price just barely covers my time checking these out and putting up my advertisement!

They are now all packed together safely in sealed clear plastic (my little family of lost souls) and waiting to go to a new owner!

Suspect these are all used but not sure UNTESTED Exactly as described in the description!
