HISTORY:
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

Found some more electronic spare parts from my early vacuum tube days.
Some new, most used (but reasonable condition)
Mixture of ceramic and bakelite (tested as bakelite using the "rub test" resulting in the Yellow/Brown residue and also that distinctive formaldehyde odour

Note: there are just 4 pins on this socket (pins 1-2-3-4)

Stamped as McMurdo British Made (unused) mates with the McMurdo socket listed above.
Typically used to interconnect sub-assemblies in equipment

IMPORTANT NOTE: Look carefully at the photograph(s) - some sockets have only some of the pins/solder tags inserted.
COSMETIC CONDITION
NEW and USED mix
Some of the sockets have solder dags, obviously previously used.
Others have unused solder tags but have light oxidisation, they will need a clean up before soldering!
