CONDITION:
Used but clean and undamaged
No body cracks
Double pole, all spade contacts clean
Top sensor area is clean
TESTING:
I undertook testing myself ...
Normally closed circuit on each pole, I then sat this on a hot element and gradually increased the temperature until "click" the bi-metal switch operates and the switch goes open circuit. This switch is a manual reset type - usually if this switch has activated in the equipment, something drastically wrong is happening (severe overheating). Once cooled down, I pushed the rear black button (small) which is only accessible by removing the base plate in the equipment and the switch reset to normal operation (closed circuit) fine.
I am satisfied this is working correctly.
Brass thread is clean and undamaged
