To be honest, I have no idea why we had this adjustable bi-metal temperature switch! Pretty antiquated technology these days although they do provide a means of low cost temperature control.

I have been unable to establish where the manufacturer is located but do know their products are used in a myriad of home appliances by SMEG, WHIRLPOOL and many others

ACTION: Normally open contacts until the set temperature is reached, at which time the contacts "make". This is an auto-reset switch, meaning that when things cool down again, the switch opens.
SOME PHYSICAL INFORMATION:
Control shaft is D shape, made of Brass
Looks to be approximately 300 degree rotation
Shaft is 12mm Length x 5.9mm diameter
Spade contacts (2x as this is SPST) are Brass construction
3x insulating spacers look to be either ceramic or a high temperature plastic
46.5mm total switch length (excluding the spade terminals)
Top bracket is 33mm Wide with two un-threaded mounting 3mm diameter holes, one on each side
