Removed from PHILIPS FM828 Transceivers (Channel Select) however these very high quality mechanical rotary switches are not limited to use in that equipment only.
Who is ELMA? ELMA - Rotary Switch
Made in Switzerland
Part: Unknown (no ID markings on the switch other than the company and country of manufacture)
Configuration: 1 pole, 10 positions
Completely sealed body (I am unable to determine the wiper metal used but suspect gold or silver plated)
Actually the switch has 12 solder tag positions but seems to be physically locked at utilising only 10 of the positions
Small diameter (4mm) round shaft WITHOUT a flat spot - you will need to use a 'collet style' knob with these switches
Supplied with assorted aluminium hardware as originally used with the Philips equipment, this hardware may assist in mounting of the switches onto a panel.
Gold plated solder tag terminations
DIMENSIONS:
Switch main body: 18mm diameter
Shaft diameter: 4mm
Shaft length: 26.5mm
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Clean
No damage to the switch at all
Solder tags have been desoldered and are relatively clean ready for reuse.
TESTING:
Tested while still installed in the Philips equipment, working fine with no signs of intermittent or erratic wiper contact
Now sealed in plastic to maintain the present condition, ready to be used once again!
