20,000 operation expected life - that is a LONG time, cycling once every minute continously 24 hours a day for 14 days! Of course that is a ludicrous situation but it illustrates that you can expect a LONG life from these switches
Main body (blue) is plastic
Top section is chrome plated metal which is clamped to the plastic body
Action: a very definite "clunk" when operated and this is a good thing when used with pedals by providing positive feedback to the user when "stomped"
