Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

So useful if you are restoring OLD electronic equipment, particularly amplifiers and general industrial equipment -I personally just love these old English toggle switches which are commonly used on older audio equipment, with that nice audible "click" when operated, the way switches SHOULD be and there is something "cute" about the squat, rounded paddle - nice!

Toggle (round) activation
Black body (which I believe is thermoplastic)
All chrome finish to the toggle arm and forward metal round nut.
This switch also has a secondary locking nut AND an ON-OFF all chrome decal which will only fit in one direction.
The decal does not have colouring added but as you can only secure it to the switch in one direction, you cannot accidently reverse the ON with the OFF position.
Completely sealed body, it appears that 2x copper rivets have been used in the construction.

Requires 11.75mm hole for the panel mounting
Toggle lever: 10mm length x 6.25mm diameter at the "fat end" and 4mm diameter at the "panel end"

Physical toggle action is positive and secure in both directions.
ON-OFF decal is made from good solid metal (not Aluminium) and is undamaged
Contact resistance checked, no issues here at all
Spade terminations are relatively clean with just light "greyness" from oxidisation over the years
I have now placed this switch into a sealed clear plastic packet, waiting to be "reborn" into another piece of equipment!
