HISTORY:
Not a lot of information (that I could find) about this switch manufacturer unfortunately ...
It is most definitely of Australian manufacture because the company logo (stamped into the switch body) is an outline of Australia (minus Tasmania) with the text ALPHA within.
Nice actuator with the 'knob' at the front end!
The Black body tests positive for Bakelite, not a modern plastic, and the body is permanently riveted to the front metal section of the switch - non-serviceable internally.
Great candidate for restoring or servicing that vintage piece of electronic equipment, particularly if you like to keep things "authentic" and not start substituting 'foreign' components as replacements

Clean
NO damage to the body at all
Actuator action is NOT sloppy with a very positive "clunk" in each position
TESTING:
Checked the closed circuit resistance, very low (in the milliOhms and beyond the capabilities of my current test equipment) - all good.
Now packed in a sealed clear plastic packet while it waits for a new "home"
