The mechanical sensor can be viewed inside, along with the spring HOWEVER the micro-switch it activates is TOTALLY ENCLOSED and SEALED

Very sensitive switch action, just moving the switch mechanical sensor by 2~3 degrees activates the switch (going open circuit) quickly and cleanly (no resistance lag)

Normal position (closed) tested as VERY LOW resistance.

Physical movement of the mechanical sensor is smooth, spring supported action (returns to rest position under spring pressure) I did not measure the torque required to push the sensor but it is a "light touch"

These are general purpose domestic and industrial appliance closed door/open door & limit switches but we actually used them as simple limit switches on a custom project - low cost and very effective. Think outside the box, these switches can be very handy in situations where physical movement needs to be detected at low cost.

DIMENSIONS:

Irregular shape but I will attempt to give the measurements (micrometer read)

Front: 25.25mm x 29.5mm

Front to Back: 25.9mm

Mechanical sensor protrudes 15mm forwards from the front in the "normal" position, when physically pushed, this sensor lies flat with the front.

Panel cutout required: 22mm x 27mm

Fixing to the panel is achieved with a small "slot" to one side (0.5 ~ 0.6mm thickness) and on the opposite side is a push snap lok
