Body material: thermo plastic
The material looks like thermo plastic and is NOT giving off a strong formaldehyde "like" smell (an indicator of bakelite) unlike the same type of socket I have also advertised but those are is USED product - no idea why these new sockets do not have that smell except perhaps they are of a much latter production year.
