USED
Ex workshop R & D and small manufacturing stock
Although this LDR is an equipment "pull", the equipment has never been in service - this was used in a very special valve amplifier project which was never released commercially.
Curious? Let's just say the LDR was "looking" at that nice soft glow from the tube heaters and taking certain actions if that glow could not be seen - anyway, much too experimental for the consumer market and as a result, the project never went commercial.
NSL - Light Dependant Resistor
I cannot recall the type number and it is not marked on the package, just the manufacturer
Power rating: 0.25W (estimated)
Dark (Black) value: 300K Ohm
Full daylight value: 30 Ohm
VERY wide swing in resistance!
Clear top lens which runs from edge to edge i.e 12.7mm window
DIMENSIONS: 12.7mm diameter x 7.20mm H
PCB pins spaced 9.30mm apart
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED "Pull"
PCB mounted, the pins have not been cut but are just the right length for PCB use or solder flying leads to the pins
TESTING:
Being a used component, I always try to check the component being offered AFTER it has been removed from service. This LDR has been checked and is working perfectly, very wide resistance change and very fast too! Tests made in daylight, I have not tested these with IR or other wavelength light.
Now packed, sealed in clear plastic
