Oh my word! Yes, the days of low voltage/current electromechanical relay switching have long since passed, principally replaced by SSR's or semiconductors for lower currents such as audio and signalling but a relay can still provide a nice simple switching solution, particularly in medium - high current power switching situations.
FUJITSU (Japan) are well known manufacturers of high quality switching components (I seem to remember one of the first Crossbar Telephone Exchange switching systems installed in NZ were from FUJITSU way back in the 1980's)
FUJITSU (JAPAN) - Power Relay
Made in Japan
Construction: Semi Open Frame
SERIES: FRL274
Type: D012/01CS
12V DC Coil
SPDT
Contact material is Silver & Tin (special formulation created by Fujitsu to resist contact welding effects)
Looking inside the case, all I can see is Copper so I assume the above alloy of Silver/Tin is the contact points only.
Contact gap: 0.4mm
Contact is rated 30A up to 14V DC
NOTE: This relay was designed for motor switching at low voltage and NOT 240V AC mains supply!
"Slow" relay i.e typical operation cycling is limited to 0.3Hz or roughly one operation per 3 seconds or so
Lifetime (MTBF) is however VERY long at 10 million operations
PCB pin mounting
DIMENSIONS:
23.5mm x 21.2mm x 18.75mm height
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
Always stored in plastic packets, as received from the distributor (although originally they were on trays from Fujitsu)
Each relay is packaged separately
*** Where the photograph shows multiple relays, this advertisement is for ONE relay only not all that are shown ***
