BACKGROUND:
Ex workshop spare parts
These sub-miniature potentiometers have an unusual termination arrangement, the PCB pins face towards the shaft, in other words the shaft will fit through a hole on the PCB it is soldered to with the top knurled section of the shaft being adjustable from the component side of the PCB or conversely, from the underside of the board.
When you can find these, often they are referred to as 'front facing' mount or rear adjustment access - the rear of the pot has a small slot so you could make adjustments from the front using the shaft or the rear using a very small flat blade screwdriver.
I cannot remember why we had these or which equipment they came from, pretty unusual mounting system though!
Manufacturer is unknown, looks like a J with a circle next to the J and an F or I or S within that circle
