BACKGROUND:
Spectrol (UK) is a very well known designer & manufacturer of high quality resistance products, these miniature dual potentiometers are ORIGINAL Spectrol components, before Vishay came into play some years ago.
The coding used on the potentiometer body is a bit sparse on information but read below for further details ...
SPECTROL (UK) - Miniature Rotary Potentiometer

Conductive plastic track
Completely sealed
50K x2 (Dual)

300 degree rotation
Text printed on one side of the body:
MOD 148

MOD 148
RES 50K

Decoding this old part number proved to be a little difficult, in particular the type of taper which is not indicated by any sort of code on the body.
I took out my trusty multimeter and both pots are definitely log taper not linear. At the same time it seems these are 20% tolerance, based on the track resistance measured across a number of these pots (tolerance is also not clearly indicated on the body)
