Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Not marked but strongly suspected to be American manufacturer based on the equipment this came from and the build quality, this is a precision meter using quality components and assembly

Complete with front bezel and mounting hardware

TESTED: Full Scale Deflection (FSD) occurs with 20mA current flow

Nice easy to read black vertical scale pointer 8mm vertical

Long throw arm measuring 55mm from the coil to the front scale with a nice dampened movement

It should be possible to change/fit a new scale, see below

Zero adjustment is right at the rear of the assembly, above the coil - this means of course that no front panel zero adjustment is possible.

LARGE front panel bezel

It is not backlit in any way although I can see with some ingenuity, back LED lighting is perfectly feasible.

Scale width is 50mm x 9mm high

Front bezel is 82mm x 25mm

Meter body measures 90mm deep x 87mm wide x 35mm deep

Precision coil assembly using alloys and brass metal

Flying leads to the rear, fitted with push on female connectors

DETAILS ABOUT CHANGING THE SCALE LABELING:

The entire unit is sealed in a heavy perspex casing, it would appear that the two side screws will release the lid of this perspex casing and allow access to the front of the meter.

The front of the meter has a curved perspex section going right across the front - this is part of the casing and should not be altered in any way.
Sitting in front of this curved perspex is a metal curved strip and this has the scale either printed directly to it or attached with adhesive. The point is that this metal strip looks to be removeable, it is a spring type fit using no screws to hold it in place, just spring pressure.

I have not tried this, no reason to play around with the meter scale at this stage, but with a steady hand and great care then the removal and changing of the scale should be possible.

Currently the scale shows dB Gain from -10 to +10, the green area in the centre being zero gain.
