HISTORY:

My primary interests have always been electronics and the 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.

I have never really taken to film and am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.

While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm is not my area of expertise, I am learning fast! and my training in electronics helps too!

If this lamp is of interest to you, it is up to you to establish that this is the correct lamp for your projector

PLEASE NOTE:

This lamp has the appearance of being used previously, how many hours? No idea unfortunately, this lamp was in the box of "NEW and SPARE LAMPS" provided by my associate. He is very unwell now so I cannot ask him about this ...

For this reason, I have a very low asking price which barely covers the time spent on the creation of this advertisement.

OSRAM - Projector lamp

Made in Germany

Circa 1980's

Type: Quartz Halogen

Small diameter (compared to the other quartz halogen's I have) at just 35mm diameter (front)

Part # SRL 64255

8V 20W

Packaged in a SYLVANIA box, all information about this lamp was taken from the stamping on the base.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED

Packaging is all very clean but not the original OSRAM packaging

Outside of the box is clean

I have opened the box to check the contents ...

Top "snap fit" lamp/reflector protector is missing in action. Since taking the photograph I have placed this lamp into a completely sealed plastic packet and reinserted into the box.

Lamp//reflector look to be in good condition, a slight Yellowish 'tinge' and little sparkles all over it - I have no idea if this is normal.

Pins are clean and shiny

The DC resistance (COLD) is measured at approximately 1.5 Ohm, which seems fine. My intention here is to check for an "open circuit" only, the specific cold resistance wasn't of any concern.

Remember that when handling these lamps, ALWAYS use cotton gloves or at the very minimum, a cloth - you do not want to get oil from your skin onto the lamp or reflector.

To maintain the current condition of this lamp, I have now sealed the complete box within an additional clear plastic packet.

I am not a shop, there will be no further ongoing supply of these lamps - once the stock has found new homes, there will be no more

USED Based on incorrect outer box and no topside protector when I opened the box
