Once upon a time ....
Any indicator on equipment front panels required an incandescent lamp, sometimes bayonet and sometimes screw thread.
LED??? No such beast in those days
Typically these were used to indicate Power on/off or to back light a scale such as a radio station dial.
Because 6.3V was readily available in this vintage equipment (valve heater supply) these lamps are 6.3V @ around 200mA
Incandescent panel lamp - new/old stock, nice shiny bodies to ensure good electrical contact in the lamp socket.
