Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

HISTORY:
The "knobman" is at it again!
NEW Old Stock
HOWEVER, I noticed that these were not properly stored on the workshop shelves and there is an issue with the centre Silver coloured metallic disc - marking, or in one case, it has gone altogether!
I have graded these knobs and made three separate advertisements, one for each grade.
This advertisement is for the single knob where the Silver metallic disc within the recessed top is completely missing! This leaves you with a plain Black top - I do not know where the disc has gone and it is not supplied (for reinsertion)
The other knobs (identical physically) WITH the Silver metallic disc intact can be found HERE
UNKNOWN MANUFACTURER - Panel Knob #3
Country of origin unknown (suspect China but I have no paperwork with these)
Black plastic body
Ribbed sides for easy grip
Straight sides with a flange at the base
White "dot" pointer
Top of the knob has NO Silver metallic disc recessed into it - missing
Fits a round standard 1/4" shaft
Single side grub screw with a slot head
Inside, where the shaft contacts the knob is plastic but around outside of this plastic centre is a heavy Brass ring to provide strength to the plastic and support the grub screw
DIMENSIONS:
Flange diameter: 25.25mm
Top of knob diameter: 19.75mm
Top inside diameter of the recessed area (for the missing Silver disc): 15mm
Height of knob: 15mm
GENERAL COMMENTS:
While the knob is sturdy and will do the job, it "feels" to be quite light and does weigh just 5g
The underside centre is a bit unusual, the plastic and Brass combination whereas normally you would expect a solid Brass bushing in the centre without the plastic
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
CLEAN
NO damage to the plastic body externally or inside
NO Silver metallic disc insert
To protect this knob from any further storage damage, it is now individually packed in sealed clear plastic
