Ex German Test Equipment (Rohde & Schwarz)
The manufacturer of this knob is not indicated anywhere on the body but there is no way Rohde & Schwarz would have used Asian sourced knobs on their equipment!
Collet knobs are commonly used in professional equipment because there is no spline fitting or grub screws which can become loose over time.
Collet knobs have an all metal centre fitting which grips the control shaft tightly and once tighened they will not let go!
To access and fit a collet knob ...
Flip off the top cap, this top cap can be changed with other coloured top caps (if you have the same type) - see my BLUE top cap knobs HERE
