Ex workshop spare parts, time for me to find new owners of these components

Integrated circuit sockets are all the same, right? WRONG ...
IC sockets come in many shapes, sizes, physical design, packaging and with different contact materials, it is important that you read the description below to establish if this is the type of socket you want.
One thing I do NOT have are MIL spec sockets, nor CDIP (Ceramic packages) - I had some nice ceramic packages with Gold plating for military equipment but those were very quickly "snapped up"

I refer to this IC socket as "low cost" only because it does not have machined pins nor is it precious metal plated

Now stored on thick ESD foam (to protect the pins) and sealed in clear plastic - this is how they will be supplied
