Another interesting piece of hardware extracted from some professional video equipment which has now become an organ donor to other equipment

Carefully extracted component hardware
While dismantling some broadcast video equipment SMPS units, I discovered these spring metal clips, used to ensure a tight bonding between TO220 package transistors and the chassis for themal transfer. Actually the devices had a another interesting item covering them, a Silicon rubber boot and this item can be found HERE
GENERIC - Transistor Spring Clip
Material: perhaps nickel plated "something" - I do know that it is not ferrous
Suits use with TO220 and possibly other devices (check the dimensions below but the spring area is quite wide)
DIMENSIONS:
Side to Side: 32mm
Mounting hole to mounting hole: 25mm
These mounting holes have a thread, I am supplying two screws (originals) with each clip
Panel or chassis hole to fit the screw needs to be a minimum of 2.5mm diameter
Width: 7.85mm
Material thickness: 4.2mm
Clip area is 6mm at the outside and 3mm at the centre of the spring area
This clip is "quite rigid" bending just enough to push up against the side of the device.
I am happy to supply these in "one-off" quantities, no need to purchase "pack" quantities but of course, the more you get then automatic discounting comes into play
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
NO damage to the spring clip at all
Supplied sealed in clear plastic packets
