Ex my "downtime" workshop spare parts ...
I entered the professional world of telephony a long time ago and have always had a passion for good old manual and rotary dial subscriber equipment, a lot of which has already found new "homes" to live in and some are still waiting to give new life to someone's old telephone equipment.
These special female spade connectors are not all that special but it always seems to be the case than when you need one (and when working with old telephones, you certainly will) you cannot find them! And go if you find a retailer selling them, you usually need to purchase of box of them when you may only need one or two to fix the telephone instrument.
Commonly found at either end of the line cords for telephone instruments as those leads use a special "tinsel" conductor inside which is an absolute "dog" to solder! You need to crimp using one of these female spades.
