To many this item is just a used lump of aluminium but I am big on reusing or repurposing old electronic components and hardware, particularly from the point of view of sustainability.

Great for a custom project or upgrading the heat disappation capabilities of equipment, particularly in the power supply section or discrete low power audio output stages.

Brand new ex production stock
Material: Aluminium
Narrow strip style
20x vertical fins
4x pre-drilled base mounting holes
DIMENSIONS:
200mm length x 38mm wide x 48mm height
8.5mm thick base
40.5mm fin height off the base
Each fin is spaced 8mm from each other
Mounting holes are 185mm apart lengthwise and 25mm apart at each "end" of the heatsink

Usage hints: Of course it is up the user to determine how to use this heatsink but we used these "bolted" onto the rear of equipment which had a corresponding hole cut out of the chassis. Devices needing extra help with heat dissapation were then "bolted" onto the underside of the heatsink (the shiny aluminium side) and the job of the heatsink was to get rid of the heat generated.
