HISTORY:
Keithley Instruments (USA) specialise in high quality data acquistion equipment and have been around since the mid 1940's. Around 2010 the company changed ownership and became a subsidiary of Tektronix.
This LED front panel display module comes from a 7002 which has been completely tested but ended up being 'parted out' because it had VFD issues and one SMPS power supply was "outside of specifications". I felt it was more sensible to be offering the spare parts instead of a "dead" piece of equipment.
This is the module that sits behind the front panel, to the right-hand side and indicates the status of the switch matrix.

Before servicing your 7002, follow ESD safety measures
Easy to fit, just remove the side screws and lift out the front panel...you now have full access to the front panel/rear. Take out the 4x screws securing the LED display board, disconnect the Light Pen connector. Fitting is just the reverse of the disassembly and then go to the TEST menu and run the LED TEST to ensure all is now well. This test will turn on every single LED, first vertically and then horizontally - all 416 of them!
Prior to removing this module that is exactly what I did, went into TEST mode then LED TEST and there are no brightness malfunctions or failed LED's in the matrix.
To ensure this A76136 module remains in pristine condition, it has been placed within a sealed ESD bag and it will be supplied this way.
