COSMETIC CONDITION:
LJ640U31 - excellent in all respects. If you look really closely at photograph 2 you can see a faint circle....the glass is highly reflective and that circle is the reflection of the ceiling lights NOT a fault with the LCD panel!
Filters - clean and unscratched. The filter is a two part unit, held together by a number of very small bolts/nuts and of course sits in front of the LCD module but is not physically connected to it.
The outermost protective filter provides a physical barrier between the LCD face and the external world, but behind this outer filter is another filter covered in a very fine mesh - this enhances anti-glare properties of the display.
Other industrial or test equipment that this display may suit will have its own hardware design to allow for the fitting of this filter and the LJ640U31 module.
All hardware for the LJ640U31 is supplied (spacers and bolts)
The large folded aluminium enclosure is the protective rear to the LJ640U31, customised to suit use with the Anritsu equipment this was removed from.
TESTING:
Absolutely perfect condition when it was in use, no dead or dark spots, no damage to the display in any way.
Immediately prior to decommissioning the Anritsu test equipment, I took one last photograph of the main display menu after boot up - to show it is indeed in A1 condition.
Standard ESD precautions taken during decommissioning and this module is now safely stored in an ESD protective bag - it will be shipped like this.
The filters etc are also sealed in plastic but stored/supplied separately. If it was considered that this hardware is not needed (no need to change display filters if nothing is wrong with them) then I can send just the LJ640U31 module, this saves on shipping costs.
