BRAND NEW Old Stock
Ex our workshop stores, our audio production business has now closed down (retired) and all the stock must find new owners
Not all LED's are "born" equal, if you had a casual glance at this LED you would be forgiven for thinking it was a small signal diode such as a IN914 or 1N4148 but oh no, this is a tiny pinpoint LED emitting Red light.
Spare part from Yamaha P2150 (and other models) amplifiers and I think we found a few Onkyo's using these as well
YAMAHA - Light Emitting Diode
Type: LTZ-MR15 (other Yamaha identification codes are P2B 632, CX-1000G & VC895800)
Light Colour: RED
Glass encapsulated with no lens as such
Size: 2mm diameter x 2.5mm length glass body
Vf = 1.7V typical
Axial leads are tinned wire, 28mm length x 0.35mm diameter
NOTES:
My camera is not good, the photography skills are also not good but I have attempted to show the LED emitting light (the really blurry picture!) Light is emitted right in the centre of the glass encapsulation and is emitted a full 360 degrees around that point. The intensity is not high although I cannot find specifications about this aspect.
In our experience, a power supply fault with the amp often caused these tiny LED's to "blow their brains out", we saw it happen! First they start emitting Red, then Yellow then no more ... LED is cooked!
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
NO body damage
Leads are clean and shiny
Always stored in the original supplier sealed clear plastic packet.
If the photograph shows multiple pin LED's, I am offering in the advertisement ONE LED ONLY, not all of them for this price!
