These Hirose connectors are often found in professional industrial and audio/visual equipment, the latter particularly for interconnect leads to breakout boxes. An example is products from Zaxcom, here is a picture of their DEVA 16 which uses this connector type.

Very small hex head grub screw located near the front of the connector secures the pin assembly to the body. Undo this screw and the threaded pin assembly comes out in the forward direction.
