USED
Ex R & D workshop spare parts.
How handy are these? Not so much for stocking purposes but fantastic for setting aside all the components that may be required in the construction of a prototype - great to have all the small components (resistors, caps and semiconductors) set aside instead of hunting around for each component "as needed"
There are TWO trays, each capable of holding up to 66 different small components = 132 little "holding areas" in total
There are plenty of resistors still left in the trays, being some of the original E24 2% series resistors and other "ring-in's" including a few small caps.
and small manufacturing stock
ALL components have been sourced through reputable local distributors such as RS Electronics, Farnell, WES and Rockby (Victoria) or sometimes direct from the manufacturer (where it was possible)
BRIEF HISTORY:
This was originally Beyschlag (German) product, offering a range of their resistors in the E24 2% range and we repurposed it over time to suit our R & D needs instead.
You will not see the name Beyschlag around much these days, this well known German manufacturer of high quality passive components born as a "spin off" from the very respected behemoth, Philips Electronics was "swallowed up" into the empire of Vishay around 2002.
So these trays are not only useful in the workshop, it has some historical/nostalgic importance.
BEYSCHLAG - Laboratory Resistor Kit
Comprising 2x trays, each tray has 66x (3 rows of 22) small compartments
Slide on lid which keeps the components in place, EVEN WHEN TURNED UPSIDE DOWN
All plastic construction
I am offering as pictured, BOTH trays in the original outer box - I will not split the trays.
DIMENSIONS:
Tray (each): 290mm x 240mm x 20mm Height
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Plastic is NOT cracked or broken off EXCEPT we intentionally removed the "front lip" because the top lid was so difficult to remove originally. This in no way affects the operation of the lid.
The components inside are in very good condition, leads are shiny - its a treasure hunt as there are many different values, most new, some "preformed" for insertion into boards etc
Supplied in the original outer cardboard box with BEYSCHLAG all over it! The condition of this box is fair, it has seen some handling over the last 30 years!
To keep everything as clean as possible, I have now placed the 2 trays inside the outer cardboard box and sealed the lot within clear plastic - this is how it will be received by the new owner.
