HISTORY:
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.
If you would like to know more about Ee values, please take a look HERE
This metalised polypropylene film capacitor is USED, I had a number of production PCB's with these fitted and decided to "lift them" for reuse elsewhere - they have NEVER actually been in use as the sub-board and completed product had not left the factory.
Manufactured and marked as LCC product although that company is now part of the Thompson CSF passive component group.
LCC - Metalised Polypropylene Film Capacitor (1)
Yellow "box shaped" body
Package markings: 1u0K (LCC logo) 63
Value: 1uF 63V
Tolerance: ± 10%
Temperature range: -55°C ~ 105°C
Termination: Radial leads
High reliability - long life (excess of 12,000hrs)
Lead pitch: 4.25mm
Dimensions: 7.45mm x 5.7mm x 11.7mm height
SHORT LEADS AS THESE WERE PULLED FROM THE PRODUCTION PCB's
Lead length 4mm x 0.5mm diameter tinned wire
Loose packed
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
Production PCB "pulls"
Leads are clean and "solder dag" free
Stored loose within sealed plastic packets
TESTING:
Although these have never seen any voltage across them, I batch tested the capacitors (actually around 15 of them) and the measured range was 1015nF ~ 1033nF - well within the manufacturer's tolerances (10%)
This is NOT an ongoing supply, once stock is exhausted there will be no further supply
*** Where the photograph shows multiple capacitors, this advertisement price is for ONE capacitor only - not all that are shown ***
