HISTORY:
Sustainability is the name of the game! Anything (that has been tested and still functioning properly) should be repurposed creating saving in wasted Ee and reducing the poisoning our environment when items are buried in the earth at the local tip needlessly.
Never heard of Ee? It is a concept that creates a measurement of ALL things (not just electronics) that humans have made and the energy used in obtaining the raw material, processing the materials right through to a finished product and even should include the shipping of the item to the distributors/retailers.

This polypropylene capacitor is USED
Ex laboratory equipment "pulls"
TESTED (see below)
UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - Polypropylene Capacitor (1)
Manufactured in Japan - How do I know this? This component came from a piece of Japanese test equipment which used Japanese sourced components entirely.
Value: 470nF 200V
Tolerance: +/- 5%
Polypropylene film, Lime Green epoxy dipped body
Radial
ID Markings on the capacitor body (one side only)
474J DH
200 SA N
DIMENSIONS:
24mm L x 17.4mm Height x 6.25mm thickness
All leads have been cut, lead length minimum is 4.5mm and maximum 13.8mm
TESTING:
As this capacitor is a "pull", I measured the current value and it shows as 496nF, still within the 5% tolerance band of the nominated value.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
Both leads have been cut, 8.75mm one side & 6mm the other
Leads have all been "pre-tinned" ready to use once again
Stored in a sealed, clear plastic packet
