Not all HDMI cables are equal!
This cable would appear to be a STANDARD version, although exactly which type is unmarked on the sheath.
Sheath has NO markings at all and the connector body at each end (moulded) has just HDMI stamped into it
Most commonly used to allow the connection of a tablet or smartphone to a monitor or HDTV
If we assume this is a STANDARD HDMI cable, this means the cable has been tested to reliably transmit 1080i or 720p video. While fine for some uses, this cable most likely will NOT reliably support the later resolutions (4K etc), refresh rates and bandwidth requirements.
