Toroidal AC Power Transformer
I cannot identify the manufacturer 100% but strongly suspect this is Bosch Australia product
The only identification marking on the transformer is PB plus model number and primary winding colour codes
Model: PT-1970D
LARGE & HEAVY transformer with these dimensions:
110mm diameter x 65mm height
2.5Kg weight
AC input is two windings 115V each
Complete with voltage input switch (115/230V) power ON/OFF switch and IEC AC input socket
Colour codes on the primary windings are marked on the side of the transformer
The secondary voltages/VA are not indicated on the transformer so these are actual, real life (no load) measurement results
WHITE-WHITE terminated with female spade connectors 29V - this is the highest current rating on the secondary judging by the wire thickness
WHITE-WHITE bare wires at the end 8.5V
BLUE-BLACK-BLUE bare wires at the end 14.5V-0-14.5V or 29V centre tapped
Same voltages as the much higher current WHITE-WHITE windings but they are absolutely electrically isolated, all secondary windings are isolated from each other
This was removed from Bosch Plena Public Address equipment, that equipment draws around 250W in total from the transformer so it would be a fair estimate that the heavy duty WHITE-WHITE winding with 29V output can provide around 5 - 8A and the a few amps across each of the other two windings giving an approximate VA rating in the region 200-250VA
Supplied complete, wiring still in place - exactly as photographed (with the transformer mounting hardware)
