Ex broadcast industry Eurocard format equipment, each transformer has been tested (open circuit)
I was actually surprised to see this is a Farnell product (Farnell Electronic Components UK) as I have ever only known Farnell as a component distributor which underwent a name change to Element 14 some time ago - I live and learn!.
This transformer was wound in the late 1980's ~ 1990's, based on the equipment it was used with.
Farnell Electronic Components (UK)
LP Toroidal Transformer
Made in United Kingdom
Model: AT7 D4021 148-960
Dual primary winding 2x 120V (separate windings) which are currently connected in series for 240V 50Hz operation
Twin secondaries 15V 60VA each winding
All windings are colour coded and easy to identify (marked on the toroid transformer)
Brown - Blue: 240V AC Primary winding
Yellow - Orange: 15V AC
Red - Black: 15V AC
Connect Red & Orange together to achieve 30V centre tapped (if required) giving around 4A total current capability. The diagram on the transformer shows the start of windings for correct (in-phase) series connection.
The above voltages are open circuit/no load.
Complete with all mounting hardware including the top/bottom insulation discs and the central bolt with nut
Toroidal measurements:
90mm diameter
28mm centre hole
42mm height
Primary leads 120mm length
Secondary leads 110mm length (medium current capability, solid single conductor)
Each transformer has a packed weight of 1.3Kg
