BRAND NEW Old Stock
Ex our workshops, a "left over" spare transformer (NEW) as part of an audio amplifier project.
Keep in mind that if 25V (under full load) is not enough "grunt", you can connect the two secondaries (isolated from each other) in phase and you will have 50V AC available.
HARBUCH ELECTRONICS

COSMETIC CONDITION
BRAND NEW Old Stock
Never been used, tested upon receipt into our stock and again today to make sure all is well.
NO physical damage to the core, windings or the wiring tails
SPECIAL COMMENTS:
I have checked the winding isolation (primary to secondary and also between secondaries) and also the output voltages on the secondaries - all fine.
I "double checked" the secondary outputs, both read 31.1V AC WITHOUT LOAD - thats fine.
DC resistance of the windings, approximation because of the inaccuracies of my meter at such low resistances
TWO WARNINGS!
WARNING ONE:
This is a VERY HEAVY TRANSFORMER, TAKE GREAT CARE LIFTING THIS BEAST! To drop it on your feet would not have a good outcome ...
WARNING TWO:
SAFETY
When using this transformer, your safety (and that of others using the equipment once the transformer is installed) is paramount!
You are dealing with 240V AC at HIGH current (for the domestic scene anyway)
Only a skilled, licensed electrician should be installing and wiring this equipment - this is not something a hobbyist should be playing around with - to do so could be lethal!
A decent Australian approved toroid with this current capability will never be cheap and my original purchase price was in the region of A$150 for these high quality Australian (stay away from the Asian toroids!) designed and made toroidal transformers that are trusted by professional users.
I have no need of this transformer, it is taking a lot of space and and it is DIFFICULT to move around due to the weight. It wants to get "out there" and do some work ...
I can ship it safely (packed with copious amounts of protective sheet foam and bubblewrap within a VERY STRONG outer carton).
