The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own Samsung Sound System.
How?
Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.
If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to the old remote - a bit hit & miss though.
Fortunately Samsung codes are fairly consistent and even if not the correct remote for your Samsung equipment, basic functions will probably still work i.e on-off, play etc
If you are making a personal visit to purchase the remote, and it is practical to bring your system components - bring them and try it on the spot!
