Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.
If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to your old remote - a bit hit & miss though.
Please be aware that every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have LG gear it does not mean this remote will control it.
If you are making a personal visit to purchase the remote, and it is practical to bring your LG gear to the house - bring them and try it on the spot!
