The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own TEAC entertainment equipment
How?
Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.
If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to your old remote - a bit hit & miss though, particularly difficult if the old remote is missing!
Please be aware that every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have a TEAC DVD player, it does not mean this remote will control it, this remote is designed for either a standalone DVD player or perhaps a DVD/Television combo.
TEAC - Remote Control ONLY
Retro
I have been unable to locate the equipment models that this remote will successfully control.
The buttons all suggest a standalone DVD player but there are some "strange" controls such as 'Spectrum' 'N/P' & Recall ...
USED IR Remote control
Genuine TEAC product NOT a 3rd party copy
Part number: RC-946
Remote only
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
NO serious scratches, cracks or other surface damage
ALL buttons are unworn and easy to read
Battery compartment clean and undamaged (no rust or corrosion due to leaking batteries!), this uses 2x AAA batteries
TESTING:
Being a used remote, I check any remote to the best of my ability
My testing method is to insert batteries and "look" (using my security camera's) for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct, I do not have this model of DVD equipment (or television) unfortunately.
ALL buttons on this remote are functioning great!
Stored/supplied in a sealed plastic packet to maintain its current condition
Batteries will NOT be supplied (2x AAA batteries) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside) and also this keeps the shipping weight down to a minimum
