The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own TEAC electronic equipment
How?
Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.
If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to your old remote - a bit hit & miss though, particularly difficult if the old remote is missing!
Please be aware that every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have a TEAC DSB or PVR, it does not mean this remote will control it, this remote is known to be designed for use with these TEAC models:
HDB860 Digital Set Top Box
HDR2250T Twin Tuner Personal Video Recorder
I believe this remote will also operate the TSB100 4K Set Top Box
TEAC - Remote Control ONLY
Retro (dates back to around 2010!)
USED IR Remote control
Genuine TEAC product NOT a 3rd party copy
I noticed while looking around online that the market is flooded with ripoff 3rd party copies, this remote is absolutely genuine
Part number: TRC-5000
Remote only
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
NO significant scratches
NO cracks or other surface damage
ALL buttons are unworn and easy to read
Battery compartment door at the rear is undamaged.
Battery compartment clean and undamaged (no rust or corrosion due to leaking batteries!), this uses 2x AAA batteries
TESTING:
Being a used remote, I check any remote to the best of my ability
My testing method is to insert batteries and "look" (using my security camera's) for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct, I do not have this model of set top box on hand.
ALL buttons on this remote are functioning great!
Stored/supplied in a sealed plastic packet to maintain its current condition
Batteries will NOT be supplied (2x AAA batteries) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside)
