Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own LG television equipment

How?

Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.

If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to your old remote - a bit hit & miss though, particularly difficult if the old remote is missing!

Please be aware that every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have an old LG Television, this does not mean this remote will control them.

LG - Remote Control ONLY

Retro (around 2010 release date)

Designed to control the LG television models 26LC7D, 32LC7D, 37LC7D & 42LC7D and possibly other models (for the user to determine) If you have a contemporary LG television, it is extremely unlikely this remote will work with it - this remote was released some 15 odd years ago!

USED IR Remote control

Genuine original LG product NOT a 3rd party copy

Part number: MKJ32022831

Remote only

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED

CLEAN

NO serious scratches, cracks or other surface damage

ALL buttons are unworn and easy to read

Battery compartment clean and undamaged (no rust or corrosion due to leaking batteries!), this uses two AAA size batteries (very commonly available)

TESTING:

Being a used remote, I check any remote to the best of my ability

My testing method is to insert batteries and "look" (using my security camera's) for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct.

ALL buttons on this remote are functioning great!

Special note: Initially I thought the remote had a button issue (POWER) but discovered that this remote operates a little differently to many others. When using the Power button, you also need to select which device you are powering ON (TV, VCR (Yes!) & DVD) and it takes about a second for the codes to be sent out from the remote. In all cases, when the remote is sending out codes, the top right button glows RED as it is transmitting. This note only relates to the POWER function, all other buttons respond and function immediately.

So this all means that I am satisifed the remote is working fine, it's just a bit 'quirky' in design

Stored/supplied in a sealed plastic packet to maintain its current condition

Batteries will NOT be supplied (2x AAA batteries) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside) and also this keeps the shipping weight down to a minimum

USED Exactly as described
