Removed from a Navman Halo Qube 2.0 AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) system - fleet management equipment.
This module provides the data communications from the module via the mobile telephone network.
It could be used as a "drop in" replacement module or for experimentation where data communications are required M2M using the mobile telephone network.

This means the system micro-controller is situated "off board" and communicates with this module - a block diagram of the architecture is shown.

Supplied with the antenna lead terminated in a panel mount BNC female connector but no mobile network antenna is supplied.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Excellent condition, clean and undamaged.
2x mounting stand-offs with screws (supplied in case they are useful)
Removed under safe ESD conditions and stored on ESD foam, within an ESD sealed bag
TESTING:
Prior to removal from the Halo Qube 2.0, the complete equipment was powered up and I have ensured access to the mobile network with a suitable registered SIM card (holder on the host board) - all is fine.
