UHF 465 - 495Mhz perfect for CB Use (when reprogrammed for this purpose)
Tough Rugged MOTOROLA portables for general commercial or UHF Citizen Band use *** (see below about this)
Standard GP300's are easy to obtain, these SELECT 5 DTMF transceivers with LCD screen are much less common.
*** CURRENTLY THIS GP300 Radius IS PROGRAMMED FOR COMMERCIAL USE BUT OF COURSE IS CAPABLE OF BEING PROGRAMMED FOR UHF CB USE AS WELL - BUT I WILL NOT DO THIS FOR YOU!
The previous owners of this equipment have updated their network to full digital so this transceiver is no longer required.
I did have a large number of these but just this one left now.
Fantastic for outdoor recreation, farmers, general reliable communications where conditions may be environmentally challenging.
I am offering a complete GP300 Radius, UHF Flexi antenna, NEW 3rd party battery, charger pocket and power supply.
You will receive exactly as shown in the photographs except the battery has been upgraded to a new one, the old battery was no longer reliable.
NO ITEM WILL BE SEPARATED, OFFERED ONLY AS ADVERTISED
Read the description carefully and do not assume anything!
Generic Information:

Malaysia made - not China!
Serial ending in 2551
UHF 20-25Khz channel spacing
16 channels selectable
5 tone DTMF select signalling
LCD screen
Analog Conventional Portable transceiver
RF Power Output: 4W (UHF) programmable
This is the T band model denoted by the 3 in the model number i.e programmable for use within the 465 - 495Mhz frequency range which covers commercial services and UHF Citizen Band use.
Weight: 440g (with battery)
Dimension: 140mm x 60mm x 45mm
*** I have listed the current programmed frequencies below. I will NOT reprogram these to suit your needs, you will need to find a dealer or tech familiar with Motorola products to do this for you. ***
This model is 16 channel capable and 4 channels are currently programmed for commercially allocated channels (NOT UHF CB)
COSMETIC CONDITION:
GP300: Light case marks - rear case has a small chip, from careless battery insertion/removal but this does NOT affect the fitting or useability of the transceiver.
Pocket charger: Excellent condition, no bent contact springs and shiny
TESTING:
GP300: In excellent working condition, user controls such as channel and volume are functioning correctly, the other buttons have not been programmed.
Channels (16) are programmed as follows:
Frequencies:
Channel 1: 480.1000
Channel 2: 481.9500
Channel 3: 483.0500
Channel 4: 484.7750
Channel 5 to 16 inclusive are not currently programmed
RX/TX Simplex
These 4 programmed channels are NOT UHF CB, to use this equipment on UHF CB it MUST be reprogrammed by a competent radio technician
The receive function has been confirmed with an associates test equipment (as I only have this one unit left I can check TX here but not RX) - no problems on receive & transmit at all.
Battery supplied is BRAND NEW (3rd party)
RF power is fine and recovered audio is clean and crisp through the internal speaker/mic
Note that the current programmed frequencies are commercial channels (it is illegal to transmit on these without the appropriate licence), for this unit to be used on UHF CB frequencies you need to find someone who will program these to the correct frequencies in the 476/477Mhz frequency range.
HINT HINT: If you wish to enter the murky world of programming these, here are a couple of extremely helpful links:

You will need not only the correct software but also some basic hardware to "talk" to the transceiver - both of these items are not hard to find online if you look carefully enough.
