RG 400 is a coaxial cable with strands of silver-coated copper wire and with a double silver-plated copper braided shield. The material specification of the outer jacket is classified as Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) material.
Frequency of use should be kept below 400Mhz due to the cable NOT having been tested under full sweep conditions (which involves testing up to at least 4Ghz) - the coaxial lead is very high quality and it is extremely likely that the lead will be fine to at least 4Ghz (actually in theory this cable/connectors are ok to go right up to around 11Ghz) however Harbour will not guarantee this extended frequency range without undertaking full sweep testing of the cable.
To keep end-user costs lower, less factory testing is undertaken for this lead - this is called unswept. The factory will undertake sweep test conditions where the application is critical (aerospace or military) and the client is not quite so cost sensitive.
Useable temperature range -55C ~ 200C
