It would have been nice to look inside but that top plate cover sits on top of a sealed membrane so no attempts were made to remove it.
5x side terminals - these are the control ports for the cells, each cell introduces extremely precise attenuation when activated.
Each cell is activated by a 12V DC control signal and by controlling the combination of cells activated, programmable attenuation is achieved.
Ports are 10dB, 20dB, 20dB. 20dB plus a common DC port
Complete with original mounting hardware (bolts)

TESTING: Known to be fully operational prior to removal from the Racal test equipment (equipment obsoleted due to the main LCD display from Citizen JAPAN being badly damaged and the required replacement display is no longer available.
