TESTING:
Suitable for POTS (plain old telephone system), NBN and ISP providers such as TPG where they also offer landline services
Testing was made by me using our NBN plus Telephone internet service (TPG)
Understand that there are two ways of using this phone....
Without the power pack fitted, it is a very basic phone - you can make calls and receive calls and not much else, the handsfree and display will not work because they need the external power
WITH the power pack fitted, full features of the phone are available
Made outgoing calls, all is fine...voice both ways is fine, display shows what is happening, number called etc
Received incoming calls, again all is fine...if caller ID is available to you, the callers number will display
Handsfree volume is good and adjustable
This is a very functional basic home telephone for landline use.
Perfect when it is desired to have a good old landline service in the house or if you have trouble with an existing service, the provider will often insist on testing your line with a known "good telephone handset" - this phone fits the bill perfectly.
