HISTORY:
My previous business for 25+ years was audio post production but there was a time when I considered moving into the world of video. I collected together a lot of interesting (but retro) equipment and thought that one day we might press them into service but in the end, the video side of things never happened because we were far too busy dealing with audio.
One piece of equipment I HAD was the XV-5000CE Color Corrector, that piece of equipment was sent off to a new owner quite some time ago. While sorting through some boxes of manuals, I found the manual for this equipment - this is the User Manual/Operating instructions
SONY - Operating Instructions ONLY
ORIGINAL Hardcopy
Printed in Japan
1984 release
Operating Instructions for the Model: XV-5000CE Color Corrector
30 pages
4 languages, this means the instructions in English are only 7 pages
NO circuit diagrams, just setup instructions for various situations, specifications and how to use the equipment
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
"Foxing" is evident, this refers to a slight Yellowing of the paper due to reaction with the environment - a common thing with old paper products.
Some "spots" here and there but nothing serious
NO pages are missing
NO gearing of pages
Spine (stapled) is secure
To maintain the condition I have now placed this manual within a sealed clear plastic packet
If you haven't seen one of these devices "in action", here is a video for your entertainment!
