Square cross-section, rectangular body with hinge allowing the two ferrite halves to separate for fitting over the cable. No need to 'thread' this filter onto the cable sheath.
Once fitted in position, close the two halves (two light clips) and then secure with either a cable tie or possibly heatshrink.
